Interactions within the Penomo Ecosystem
The Penomo platform serves as a hub for seamless interactions between stakeholders, enabling secure and efficient financing of renewable energy projects:
Renewable Energy Issuers
Renewable project developers and operators register their assets on the platform and submit due diligence documents to initiate the tokenization process. Upon approval, their assets are structured into tokenized securities, which are then listed for sale either on the Penomo platform or through third-party marketplaces.
Capital Allocators
Institutional investors, private wealth managers, and sustainability-focused funds interact with the penomo service, API or platform to purchase and trade renewable asset-backed digital securities. These tokens represent rights to receive yields from fixed interest rates and/or revenue shares, distributed periodically (e.g., quarterly) over a defined contract period, as specified by the issuer.
Compliance and Structuring Partners
These partners handle legal, regulatory, and technical frameworks required for the issuance of tokenized securities. They ensure compliance with KYC, AML, and securities laws while providing ongoing updates to stakeholder data as mandated by financial authorities.
On/Off-Ramp Providers
Investors and issuers use these services to convert fiat currencies to stablecoins for platform-native transactions such as security token purchases or revenue distributions. The system also allows participants to convert tokens back to fiat and transfer funds to their bank accounts, ensuring seamless interoperability between traditional and digital finance.
Payment and DvP Providers
Enable Delivery versus Payment (DvP) systems to ensure that transactions—whether buying securities or distributing yields—are secure, transparent, and free from counterparty risks.
Revenue Enablers
Strategic partners integrate soft- and hardware solutions to enhance the revenue generation of green assets. Examples include hardware devices for verified energy production tracking, enabling the issuance and sale of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) or other value-added products tied to the assets.
